Nomad Farm is the online home (and a pseudo-business name) for the evolving practices and projects of Kate Strathmann (that’s me, currently speaking in the third person.)
I spend most of my time helping small business owners align their vision and values with success and happiness with my company Wanderwell. My work and interests explore the intersection of community, art, business, somatics and practices of embodiment, radical economies, and systems and economies.
I draw on a meandering life path driven by curiosity and restlessness to inform my work. Former farmer, reiki practitioner, retired yoga teacher (and current practitioner of nearly twenty years), one-time stilt walking teacher, writer, artist, award winning pie baker, and frequent flier mile expert. I honed my negotiating skills living in India for nearly two years.
Various places to stalk hear from me:
Wanderwell emails, where I write about business, being a boss, and how to be successful in alignment with vision and values.
Dervish Guides, which are emails about various projects, usually, though not always, related to hustling travel.
I also write a Tiny Letter on occasion, email me to get added if you want to receive my most personal writing.
